Not open what a waste of time done go here
Where do I begin…let me first say that at least one technician that came to my house was semi helpful. But if not for the first not doing his job the next months of frustration would not have happened. I bought a fridge from sears in 2016 and it stopped working. I called sears home services and a technician came out. Without actually doing anything he diagnosed it as a compressor. Apparently because that’s the most common issue? Sears Home services technicians are good. However their billing departments for repairs or warranty uses very bad business practices. They made me prepay for 2 parts. The tech Used only 1 part and I had to wait 4 months for the refund of the unused part. The warranty department was supposed to charge me a deductible ONCE for a new repair with a card on file. BUT, they charged me TWICE. To process a refund they are asking me to read out my card number to some random agent who is located in some random country. DO NOT USE SEAR... read more
Placed a service call on a refrigerator. Had to prepay. Waited 2 weeks for a part. A different service guy came, opened tge package and said its the wrong part. We were allowed to cancel the service call but still waiting pastc30 days for the refund.
