I called about a simple problem (broken door) on a washing machine. I rent the home. The "customer service" person tried no fewer than five times to upsell me a $49.99/month maintenance deal rather than quote a reasonable price. Two of those times came after I explained I wasn't going to insure equipment I didn't own. My landlord (who's terrific) ended up paying $300 for a tiny repair. I'm done with Sears Appliance Repair.
I was promised a call when repairman was on the way, did not realize they meant on the way to the front door. The repairman clearly was not interested in working on my dryer. On the bright side, I bought a new dryer and will not need their service anytime soon
Helpful and very knowledgeable repair man. He was quick, on time and excellent work. My stove was purchased in 1995, but this was the first time for a repair. I wasn't sure it could be repaired. It's just like new again. My whole family is so happy!!!
DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER. The first 5 minutes on the phone is going through prompts. The next 20 with a salesperson whose job it is to badger you about a $40/mo warranty and the last 5 was with a supervisor finally making an appointment and of course taking your charge account number. The appoint time spread is 7-4. You wait and wait getting updates all day and at 6:30PM you get a text cancelling!! I cancelled 2 different activities because of this.
The technician did not show up for the scheduled appointment. Appointment was from 7 am to 4 pm. I received an email saying sorry we missed you. I was home all day no one knocked on the door or rang the door bell. I have a ring doorbell camera and did not see him. Customer service is a joke, after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment and technician not showing up all they could offer was an appointment another 3 weeks out.
