1st. Tech ordered individual parts and scheduled a return in 2 weeks. 2nd. Tech came and disassembled dryer. He went to the shop to get an available kit of parts (no waiting for parts) and took back the parts I waited 2 weeks for. After installing the kit, a spin of the dryer ( no load) he left. I washed a load and put it in the dryer. After a few turns all kind of noises started culminating with the drum stopping to turn. Third Tech is supposed to show up today. Hope he knows how to fix it.
Our technician, Randall, came when expected, was courteous, competent and full of useful tips and information about our Kenmore gas stove that made his visit a great experience. He found some items that needed to be adjusted that we would never have noticed and suggested some ideas to solve a problem we were having that saved us having to buy a new stove. Terrible service. The technician did a diagnostic on our refrigerator and said that we needed a part ordered in order to fix the issue. We put in an order for the part and waited weeks/months to later find out that they do not manufacture the part anymore. In frustration we decided to cancel all services and to get a refund (still waiting on the refund) We got a second opinion on our refrigerator and when the new technician came over he instantly knew what was wrong. A&E Factory Service was assigned to me from Home Warranty of America. I filed a claim because our microwave is broken. The technician, who did not have a name badge, microwaved a cup of water to diagnose the problem. It goes snap, crackle and pop, and then smells like an electrical fire. He types up the estimate for repair and tells me it will be $558.48. I question the high repair cost for a microwave that cost $334.95 at Home Depot (later to find out it is $279 on Amazon). I have not been able to get a repair person to show up to fix my washier I have received all the parts in . I have called and they set day and times up ,but no one shows up I have called every week for a month now and no repair person.
