The entire experience was disappointing. First, when I bought the Sears Protection plan on my washing machine, I assumed that Sears would work on my washer any day of the week. But what I found out was they only serviced my area once per week. So in my case, the technician came to the house on a Wednesday, tried to fix the washer but discovered he needed a part that would need to be ordered. Service tech was here on time, I was contacted by phone the day before and when he was on his way within a hour of my appointment. Very nice and had my ice maker replaced within minutes. Will do business again.
Contacted Sears in mid-Sept. to repair my 60" TV. Two weeks to get repair scheduled and someone had to be home between 8AM and 5PM. Repairman came and diagnosed the problem as a bad power supply. Ordered the power supply and scheduled an appointment to install (again, "scheduled" service appointment is between 8AM and 5PM. The installed the power supply and determined that that wasn't the problem and that the main circuit board needed to be replaced. They charged $300 for 1/2 hour labor! I thought the repair would be under warranty. It wasn't until they showed up at my doorstep that they told me the charge.
absolutely the worst and most expensive repair company in town. We will never use Sears again. It took a month to finally get repair done and the job was shoddily put back together. They left the heavy parts for us to discard. Terrible terrible terrible. do not use Sears.
The two repairmen that came and worked on the washer did their job. The task was not an easy one but they did it together and got the parts installed. Only one sad thing it did not solve the constant noise the Samsung Top Louder Washing Machine has been making for quite a while. There has been other agents that have come before this two that came on Sept 30,2016. They did nothing. Machine is making very loud noise when it is on spin cycles. It is a very scary noise. It is very loud noise.
Don't use poor customer service. Had an appointment scheduled for July 18. Technician did not show up. No reason was given. Next available appointment was not until August 11.
Great service man. Went out of his way to get the job done. When he got here and found out that he did not have the correct part he call a sears service center in Corpus Christi found the part drove to the next town came back and finished the job. GREAT TECH.
