HUD lady was very nice and respectful. She answered all my questions and even provided me with additional resources which helped me a lot honestly. Sucks their waiting list is closed to apply for hud cuz I need assistance but at least I didn’t have to deal with someone rude like white river.
Section 8 lady was very kind and helpful. I can’t remember her name but she answered all my questions and gave me all the information I needed. If you need questions answered ask for her because she seems to actually care and want to help people as it should be instead of feeling like burden as I did with some of the others I’ve spoken with here and at other housing authorities.
Management will go into your house without notice and dig through your belongings
This review is for the LIHTC apartments and staff. I've been with Searcy Housing Authority since February 1, 2008. Never have I missed a single payment in these 17 years. I have been late, but I have always included the late fee with the rent payment. Every time. Full stop. Beginning in November 2024, the property manager from Jacksonville tried saying I had a past due balance in rent and late fees.
