I filed for bankruptcy in 2017. It was discharged a couple months later. Fast forward to 2019, I find out I am being sued for a discharged debt stemming from a hospital bill of less than $1000 which I disputed back in 2017 when I received the bill after my discharge. This attorney, despite knowing via my response that I no longer live in Glynn county and that traveling to Brunswick is a hardship, still wants to pursue a lawsuit against me for a bill i do not owe under federal law. Attorney agreed to a payment plan through court order, after 4 payments went to another county court to file for paycheck garnishment of inflated amount to include his own fees.
Very disappointed in how he handles business. He does not care about clients or outcome of cases. Could not provide documentation as requested. Very unorganized and only cares about bottom line. But then again, typical attorney. Lies and cheats to please his own interest. Would not recommend if you want someone caring and understanding.
