Dr.. Shannon is awesome. He is friendly and takes his time explaining everything in detail. He uses a dry erase board, to break down how the given medication works. I would recommend him over and over. 100% to Baton Rouge Medical Center for having him on your staff.
Dr. Shannon is the best, I have multipule autoimmune issues and he has worked very hard with other specialist to try and pin point exactly what we need to do in managing my illness and every day life.
I have had an appointment for over two months. I get a call last week confirming my new patient appt. Today I was informed Dr. Shannon has decided not to take new patients. They could get me in with another doctor. Of course my insurance would have to clear first, then wait for an opening. Now I have to contact my insurance. No idea how long it will take me to get in.
