Sometimes you take time out of a psychologists day and you’re a job for them, and sometimes they actually help. I went through quite a few psychologists before I found Dr Stevens, who actually cared enough to help. If you’re on the journey that I was, don’t give up just because the helpers you’ve sought out have already. Not all of them have. Dr. Stevens was the one for me who hadn’t given up and who still holds out hope when I can’t. I think it’s important to know that they’re out there if you’re looking.
My son saw Dr. Stevens after an assault. He had ongoing confusion and anxiety, which Dr. Stevens treated through counseling. My son was back to his happy self with new confidence in only a few sessions. I will be forever grateful.
