Dr Fine is a kind, caring and compassionate Doctor. He is top notch in his specialty I have referred others to him because I trust and have so much confidence in his expertise and experience. I have Crohn's disease and he has guided me with the best treatment and options to deal with the disease. Highly highly recommend this provider .

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SEAN FINE MD. Sean Fine MD actually re-wrote my 30 year IBD history so all symptoms appeared a sign of mental illness. Sean Fine MD then assigned me mental health diagnoses which do not fit thereby misrepresenting my character and poisoning the well with my other providers at Lifespan//Brown, and he interfered with treatment of my IBD. I would never recommend Sean Fine MD and need people to be aware of what he did to me - so they can make an educated decision about their GI referral. A history of hell: Brown/Lifespan misdiagnosed my continued IBD symptoms after colectomy for UC 1996. They told me all remaining symptoms were mental illness and I was sick because I wanted to be sick. My PCP sent a referral on 10/28. After a week, I reached out and was told that it was being reviewed and to wait another week. I have reached out a couple of times since then and have not received a call back. I don't think it should take over three weeks for someone to schedule an appt. 12/6 - Almost 6 weeks and no one has called me back.
