Stayed here for YEARS until I had to deal with their employee Scott, very rude. It was my friend (from Washington) and my 70th birthday celebration and while I initially I booked online for 12/18 & 12/19, my friend said she too would like to celebrate her 70th and I rebooked to The Barn. Such a pleasant B&B in a great location. But the key to the pleasant stay was Ian, the enthusiastic owner. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. He clearly loves his work. And, importantly, it’s just a couple of blocks away from the GoodLife Bakery. A must visit.

Very cute inn with lovely and kind staff. I’ve never liked hotels, they always feel too sterile and they make me miss the comforts of home. This inn had the best of both worlds, its was cozy and felt lived in but was clean and had great amenities. It’s nice coming back to a freshly made bed and it’s really nice waking up to homemade breakfast every day. I think this B&B style inn is the culture of Mendocino, a tiny, friendly, and cozy town. Can’t wait to come back next summer.

I am an event organizer who reached out to Seagull Inn for their assistance in procuring gift certificates that would be part of the prize baskets for the Grand Prize Drawing at the Bay Area Dental Expo. Ian was super friendly and helpful in setting up the certificates and getting them sent over to me. I would recommend the Seagull Inn to anyone looking to get the perfect Mendocino getaway gift!
