Thank you to Seaford Moving for our recent move to Suffolk. They crew arrived on time with two trucks and a 6 men. They did a great job and moved a few things more than once at the new house so they would be where we wanted them. I would highly recommend Seaford Moving to anyone needing the services of a moving company.

Our household goods were severely damaged after being packed by this company. The unpacking company said it was the worst unpack they had ever experienced and nothing was done within the Wheaton regulations. Our boxes looked like someone had emptied a drawer into them. We had lighter fluid packed with candles (neither one of those is allowed to be packed), Oakley sunglasses not even wrapped up and placed with tools. After talking to several local companies, I decided to hire Seaford Transfer. It was so nice to talk with Mary on the phone; she answered my questions like someone that really cared about what I needed to have done and was understanding of the fact that I needed to have my hand held. Moving alone is not easy! The packers and movers that helped me were very accommodating. I could not be any more pleased with the service I received.

I would never recommend them. Especially the young vulgar crew I had. My hands were tied and I could not fire them on the spot because I needed to be out. I have cigarette butts in my yard, scratched and cracked furniture, and a broken dryer. What makes it worse is that I called to complain on Wednesday. I was told I could only speak to one person. It it now the following week and they have yet to call me back. I have called 3 times and told there is no one in authority I can talk to because they are a "small company". A sma... read more

My wife and I have been moved by Seaford Transfer 3 or 4 times over the last 15 years. Their employees have always demonstrated professionalizm and respect for our belongings. We have never had a claim for damages until our move in Dec. 2011. Several pieces of furniture and accessories were either damaged or destroyed in the move. We filled out the claim form as directed by their lead man, signed the form and gave it back to the lead man. We were assured that the claim would be honored. The total claim was $1600.00+. They moved antiques from my grandmother's estate and treated them (and me) with care and respect. I recommend this company to everyone that needs to move; you will not be sorry!!!

It is hard to find a company like Seaford Transfer. They moved me recently and I couldn't have been any more pleased. They sent out a woman to look at what I needed to have moved and she gave me a lot of good suggestions to help me save moeny on the move costs. The crew seemed to really care about my things and there was no damage. I would recommend them to anyone considering a move.

Seaford Transfer moved me several years ago and were my first mover of choice to move me again recently. I waited too late and found out they were not available on the day I needed to move. Unfortunately, I had to go with another mover and was that a mistake!!! That mover told me they could move me, but didn't show up. I called Seaford back and they were able to work with me on another date. Next time I will make my plans around Seaford's schedule.
