Sam’s does not have “atmosphere “ such as it is. It has indoor seating with tables and some booths but no table service/waitstaff so I can’t really rate its atmosphere. Food is very good imo, if a bit pricy but it’s cape cod and I expect no less. Staff have always been very polite and helpful at least.
Mediocre food, very small portions
We consider ourselves fried clams connoisseurs, And rave about Seafood Sam's in Sandwich. But comparing the fried clams at this location, versus Kream and Kone and Cobies, these were rather flavorless and over breaded. We've been here several other times in the summer and spring and at those times the clams here were delicious. Maybe this just a symptom of late season.
