We were going to go out to another place but the two hour wait time turned us off. Well, we were in luck. Sam's was good value, good food, and good atmosphere. Appreciated the outside seating in the backyard and the family friendly prices. The staff was friendly and we had our drinks right away and it wasn't a long wait for our classic fried cod.
I got a fried plate of scallops and chicken tenders. 6 scallops that were actually halves. Chicken was even smaller. Chicken bites is what Id call them. Nice place but you go there to eat and for the price I expected more. Its a tourist stop. Probably plenty of other local pubs you could get more for the dollar.
Very good seafood. Atmosphere is no frills but ample seating. Service is quick, counter service.
Food was great! We ordered the clam strips and a kids chicken meal. We ordered the food to go but had seen the restaurant was pretty crowded.
