I love living at Uptown is great, I love it here.
Moved my mom in here 5 years ago. She has consistently deteriorated. The place is getting worse and worse. It’s dirty and has a bug problem. They do not help the residents with bathing and never give medication on time. Do not put your parent here. It’s sad. Used to be a great place before the new management took over.
UPDATE: After finishing a phone call with Dennis the administrator at SeaCoast to inform him of his assistant administrator Kyle Hoover lack of empathy. He had the audacity to say to me that he's not trying to make an excuse but they deal with this all the time. I was flabbergasted when he replied with his answer. I feel, working in this type of field you should definitely have some sense of compassion. It 's only few words to say "I'm sorry for your loss". My mother moved into this facility on April 15 and sadly passed away on April 30. She was there for just 15 days! I found a voice recording she had accidentally taken on her phone, her breathing was so loud, raspy, and wheezy that she should have been immediately transported to the hospital. My brother was informed of our mother’s death via a voicemail! A voicemail! They have absolutely no proper procedures in place to deal with the death of one of their residents. I am currently a resident here. I live on the 3rd floor which I was told was a the self sufficient living area.My roommate is blind and a great woman
