Seabrook is a wonderful place and Mom is very happy there. However, they keep raising the the monthly fee over 4% every year! Seniors are on a fixed income and this is becoming a problem for many I talk to. They keep remodeling areas that are perfectly fine, I think to attract more residents. They are spending and spending and passing the bill to the residents! They will quote you one price when you move in, but don't expect that to be the bottom line.

My mother was in Seabrook for 7 years. She loved being in independent living and having all the conveniences readily available to her, such as a bank, pharmacy, small grocery, hair dresser, etc. With the onset of dementia, she required a transfer in December to an assisted living facility , closer to family members. We feel the staff at Seabrook were wonderful, including kitchen aides, housekeeping, medical assistants and other ancillary staff, who always had extra time to help out my mother.
