I booked a tee time several weeks in advance for the Byrd course during our planned week at Sunset Beach. Had confirmation and everything. Arrive prior to tee time only to be informed the Byrd course was closed. No communication at all. Had my number and email from the booking. They crammed us in on an already way overbooked Jones course as numerous others had the same situation and Maples is under renovation. Very disappointing situation. Sea trail renovations are great. The service at sunset prime is horrible. No type of organization is available. Wait times awful. Service staff is really good but absolutely no organization. Wait times are over 20 mins for a drink. Please someone help them cause they need it terribly

Not worth your money. My family and I went last year and showed up for our tee time and there was no driving range or putting green…fast forward another year and guess what….no putting green or driving range. When we asked the employees we got a “Oh well they say we are getting one but we don’t know when.” They obviously don’t care and are happy to take your money. We teed off and half the holes had to wait because greens keepers were still watering and sanding greens and mowing grass. Wouldn’t wast your money on a place tha... read more
