-10 stars. AVOID USING THIS SERVICE AT ALL COSTS!! If you have to, use TowBoat U.S. I called them for assistance and they sent a brand new “captain” who obviously had no idea what he was doing (confirmed by other seatow captains that were watching). He made the situation so much worse, and then wrote up an invoice for almost $5000 when he couldn’t fix the damage he caused. I will be screaming it from the mountain tops, and making sure everyone I know never uses them, DO NOT USE SEATOW!!
He used to work for their sister SeaTow Miami and although I have nothing bad to say about Seatow Fort Lauder, they’re still part of the same company that will salvage people that just need toes and don’t help their ex employees after promising them things like lifetime memberships for working there I still never got my final paycheck from SeaTow Miami or my final salvage check. And if that ain’t Bad enough I recently needed help, they asked for my insurance to help me. I recommend using TowBoatUS.

I don’t know where to start with Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale… but they are The captains, staff, admins, and dispatchers are 100% top notch! They respond quickly and efficiently to emergencies. I recently had a situation with 4 of my friends getting stuck in a major storm coming back from Bimini, and lost all propulsion 30 miles offshore. Cliff note version - Coast Guard stayed with us, and called Sea Tow on our behalf. In no time, Captain Mike with Sea Tow, was dispatched, hooked up to our boat, and brought us safely home. Glad to be apart with Sea Tow of Fort Lauderdale. I had to use them one time with assistance back to our dock. The captain managed well in the high winds.
