Friendly staff serve a variety of healthy and tasty sandwiches. Vegan and vegetarian options. Being a vegan, my favourite is the Santa Cruz. Also, homemade soups, chili, and baked goods. Eating at the Sea Star each year I visit the Eastern Shore is one of the biggest things I look forward to! Best sandwich place I've ever eaten at!

We always loved the food at SeaStar. I was very disappointed when I heard they were going out of business. The fact that I’m currently sitting in their parking lot at 5pm and they’re closed when their Google ad hours say they’re open until 6 and current status says open…we’ll that sure eases the sting of hearing they’re going out of business. TAKE OUT ONLY! But they do have some benches in their yard area. The food was very good and reasonably priced. They seem to do small batches of prep as we went in the late evening and they were selling out of stuff quickly. Be prepared to make substitutions if you go later.
We came here after waiting and being ignored by the front of house staff over 30 minutes prior at a diner down the road. Although there was a line here shortly after opening, it went quick and was totally worth it. The artisan sandwiches are made fresh, to order, and the way they’re assembled, wrapped and bagged, shows they care about the food served and the customer receiving it.
