The Sea &Sand Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were clean, the grounds were immaculate and the breakfast was petty good as well. Everything was quiet and I dare say even romantic. The predominant noises were the roar of the waves, the sounds of the gulls and the barking of the sea lions. Looking out the balcony you see the wharf and the boardwalk which are all within a few minutes walking distance. Coffee is available 24/7 and between 3 &5 pm there are warm chocolate chip cookies. I had a wonderful stay at the Sea and Sand Inn. The front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, very clean, and had incredible views of the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to that view was refreshing and relaxing. The outdoor seating areas with fire pits were a highlight, offering spectacular views of the beach and boardwalk. Beautiful place and great views
The view was perfect. The room was small but just right. It served the purpose. Loved the patio area. If I didn't feel like being covered in sand, the could read outside. Take advantage of the 24 hour coffee and tea. They have a decent hot breakfast. I will definitely be returning.
This was our first time staying at the hotel. We didn't experience any problems. I don't know how old this place is but I think it has been there for a long time. Given that this place is old we felt it was well cared for. Everything worked in our room. We even noticed a grounds worker meticulously working there keeping the grounds looking nice.
