AVOID AT ALL COSTS misleading information and gross. I recently stayed the 9/25-9/26 Checked in for a 8 day stay, left after one night. Very unhygienic, waste of money, horrible experience! infested with bed bugs and insects . We explained the situation and sent pictures/videos of the bugs and how dirty the room was. The next day ( because they don’t have none in the front nor a 24hr customer service line)the Hotel told us they brought in pest control and that the cleaners took pictures of leaving the room in “good condition... read more
It’s very old, but not dirty. We booked it through Booking, where the room looked really nice. However, we had several problems: the door lock didn’t work properly, the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the fridge froze all our food. The area feels like it’s dying, with most of the places already closed. The positive thing was the view of the ocean, and the beach was clean and well maintained. Anyway, if you’re looking for a nice vacation, I’d recommend booking a different accommodation.
This was obviously once a massive incredible resort with many buildings, water parks and pools. Now it sits in disarray with not much hope. Luckily I stayed in an air bnb and not directly through the “resort”. No pools or water park are open, elevator is broken and the whole place is in really bad shape. No one is at the front desk to assist, some of their buildings are abandoned or are apartments (very broken down).
It’s giving cheap motel vibes and not kids friendly. Noisy AC unit that keeps waking my toddler up in the middle of the night and dusty AC windshield that need to be clean. Almost all metal parts in this room are rusted; like the over toilet storage, door hinges and door chain. Old furnitures and cabinets. The PARKING is TERRIBLE!
We drove 6 and a half hours from West Virginia and was very excited to stay for my fiancé’s birthday for three days at this hotel they disguised as an air bnb. Google maps pulled us up to an abandoned old hotel. Sure enough that is it. We had issues getting the door to unlock, then went to get our stuff and saw a swat team. We put our stuff inside and went to the beach. Came back and found 2 bed bugs behind the bed, one behind the tv stand and a roach in the bathroom.
