1 The word of the day, Communication. sadly Sea Marine hasn't gotten around on that one. The phrase of the day "Get it in writing" I will commend them for availability but outside that Not impressed. We took our boat to SeaMarine for a bottom paint package, a leak at the base of the tiller, a windlass that didn't work, and since it was at a mechanic and out of the water we asked that they give the engine and whatnot a once over. Once we turned down their $21,000 engine replacement suggestion, I feel like they didn't care about us anymore. They said they couldn't recreate the tiller leak so that didn't get fixed, they forgot that we asked for the windlass to be fixed, and this was the paint job. The first time we went to ... read more
This place is a scam. Took them a full year or more to service the sail drives on our cat. Bottom line, and 24k later (not including marina fees on the hard). The sail drives still leak and one is inoperable. New drives are 13k. Thank you Sea Marine for a great con job.
Our experience working with Sandy purchasing a Nordic Tug was wonderful. She is very responsive, experienced and made the process a piece of cake, eliminating a lot of stress. She’s a real pro who knows her stuff. We highly recommend Sandy.
