We went to Sea Marine to have our boat set up for ease of use for an older couple. 80+ and when we left the boat was unusable. We had two appraisals done, and our boat lost a 1/3 of its value because of the incompetents of Sea Marine's workmanship and Chris Bakken, the manager. Chris Bakken promised to fix it, but his word is worth nothing. He is one of those people that has an excuse for everything to cover his ***. Do your research and make sure you talk to the people at the Port of Port Townsend.
We needed a saildrive repaired and two feathering props checked after hitting a log. At first it seemed they were helpful but all jobs were only partly done. The saildrive was shipped mid December and not returned till February. Then the props weren't back till the end of February. We weren't there when they took one prop off and then Seamarine accused us of losing prop parts which had to be ordered from Australia when we weren't even there. 3 more weeks till boat launch and one prop was pitched the wrong way so forward was ... read more
