My daughter asked me to set up an appointment for her to get restarted in mental health services. When I called to set up her initial appointment I was told by the woman who answered the phone that I am not able to set up her initial appointments because she is over the age of 13 and they have to talk to her and get consent! As someone that works in the mental health field this is not accurate. As her parent I am able to set her appointments.
