I was liking it but now I’m frustrated. I took my dog in, who went to physical therapy in another city for over a year prior to our move to the Boston area. It’s a bit of a drive for me so I was frustrated when PT wasn’t included in her first appointment despite there being no other dogs in the area and my dog having done PT before and she loves the underwater treadmill. We’ve been 3 times and paid $2000 and she still hasn’t got in. They also stated at her first 2 appointments that they had a wheelchair she could try. I don’... read more

Back in January, my dog Danny experience a spinal stroke that left him unable to use his legs. Over the last month, we worked with Dr. Pereira to do acupuncture, laser therapy, and water therapy and now he can walk and run. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pereira. He truly cares about Danny and his progress, and is incredibly empathetic and knowledgeable. He goes above and beyond to help. I feel very lucky that Danny is in his care. The staff are also very nice and helpful and the facilities are very clean!

The Sea Legs staff are fantastic, and Dr. Pereira is exceptional. I have seen a lot of vets, and he is truly one of the best. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, focused on my dog’s mental and physical wellbeing, and has been incredibly supportive as my family navigates a devastating DM diagnosis. While it’s easy to focus on what my dog can no longer do, Dr. Pereira focuses on what she still can do, and helps us maintain her mobility as much as we can. In addition, my pup is very fearful of vets, but Dr. Pereira patiently bu... read more

I went to Sea Legs Vet with questions about my puppy who was born with hydrocephalus, and the experience was amazing. The vet was super compassionate and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even though I only went in for a consultation, the advice I got helped me avoid surgery. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much, especially one that’s independently owned. Highly recommend Sea Legs Vet for anyone looking for genuine, thoughtful care.

I started bringing my dog Robbie here a few weeks ago and the team has been great helping him with his pain management.
