Joe runs a tight ship - and thank goodness he does! He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with a healthy dose of patience and laughter to his teaching. We spent the better part of a weekend (trying) to learn some basic sea kayaking skills as well as wet exits and assisted rescue with Joe and Katrina. Together they did an excellent job of planning, classroom instruction, and on-water instruction to ramp us up. We are very thankful to have been their students!! You won’t go wrong with this crew!!
Matt was a knowledgeable guide who did a great job finding the right pace for us. As I’m a bit slow with the kayak! He explained a ton about the wildlife and the ecosystem. He told us some great stories about the area and the related history. Yes we saw the river dolphins too, which is really cool!
Very fun. Definitely it is worth going.
