The retro style was cool. The rooms are small, but what more do you really need. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner worked. It was overall a nice little place. The staff was very friendly and it was a quiet place close to everything. We just walked wherever we wanted to go. My only complaint would be that the pool closes at 8pm. I typically prefer to go to the pool for a night swim, but I suppose it kept it quiet, so there is a trade-off. We would definitely consider staying again.
Apparently having working showers is a luxury item. They told us repairs were done and they left. We still couldn't use showers didn't move us or give us credit. Very disappointing for such a beautiful little place. Being disabled was worried but was told it would be taken care of. Feel taken advantage of. My sister brought me there because I had been very ill and needed rest. It was ruined after a day of fishing and no shower. Had to leave early and ruin the rest of our plans. Disappointed and Won't Be Returning! We've stayed here many times before and always had great experiences-until now. This visit was a complete disappointment from the start. Upon arrival, we were informed that pool hours had been reduced because of a previous guest's behavior. When I expressed my disappointment, the GM responded with, "Well, we could just shut down the pool..." WOW. Not exactly the warm welcome we’re used to.
