Sea Island Shrimp House – Great food, prompt service and friendly staff. Prices are just right. I love their Jumbo Friend Shrimp! I go once a week to eat @ Sea Island at 5959 NW Loop 410 in San Antonio. I enjoy meeting my friends at this restaurant.

Best seafood in SA, which ain't sayin' much – In Corpus Chisti it would only be 3 stars. Since Water Street closed, I think this place is now the best in SA, but honestly it's only good, not great. I grew up going to the Black Diamond in Corpus Christi and Kings Inn just south of Kingsville and both places would blow this away. I had the Jumbo Fried Shrimp and they were very good, but not on par with Black Diamond or Kings Inn. If you like fried shrimp DEFINITELY buy the jumbo, not the regular friend shrimp. Hugely better. A San Antonio secret! SISH should be a national chain! – Go to their website to downlod a coupon for a free shrimp ceviche cocktail. Just liek everything else at Sea Island, the first couple of bites takes a bit getting used to...then you realize that this "different" taste is really, really amazing. GREAT SEAFOOD AT REASONABLE PRICE – I visited the one by Ingram mall. I had grilled lemon pepper fish and shrimp lunch special. The place is very clean. Friendly host will greet you as soon as walk in. You place the order at the counter and pick it up when your food is ready. The food comes up real quick. Food is tasteful and fresh. Good Food – If I want some good seafood without all the fanfare I go to Sea Island. It's not haute cuisine but it's consistently good, well prepared and plentiful seafood that's never disappointing. I've tried a lot of the menu items over the years and they've all been tasty, but I keep coming back to the original Fish and Shrimp plate that used to be called #16. I will keep going back.

Awesome Shrimp! – This is by far MY favorite seafood joint to eat at. I'm a shrimp lover and their portion sizes are large. I am married with 3 young children and there's something to please everyone! My husband's favorite dish is the stuffed shrimp and mine is the collassal shrimp. Enjoy!

Wow....what a pleasant suprise. – Very inexpensive and the food is incredible. Very fresh, good selection, a little bit confusing to order your first time. I would highly recommend the fresh fish of the day or my favorite, the stuffed shrimp. I wound up there 4 times in a week. Can't wait to go back to San Antonio!!!

Good, inexpensive seafood restaurant – Longer wait during rush hour, but overall good food for a very reasonable price. One of my favorite lunch places if I go before or after lunch rush. The menu has quite a few choices, although I always seem to get the Lemon Pepper Broiled Fish plate.

Best in the southside of town – My family and I have been going to Sea Island for 15 years, it is dream now that we have one on the Southside of town, we are never disappointed. The shimp salad with avacado is out of this world. Shrimp gumbo, can not stop eating it. The best the best.
