Was awesome experience from Virginia getting away from the cold and experiencing new things. Christmas vacation. Our tour guide was awesome took my family me and my daughter were laughing the whole time. Had fun.
We did the sea glass guided kayak tour today. The weather was perfect, but the experience itself was disappointing. The tour was advertised as seeing Gulf marine life and the sea bottom, but there was very little to see. We briefly saw one dolphin, and otherwise just sea grass, small crabs, oysters, and birds. The sandbar we paddled a long way to was anticlimactic. We paddled far and fast for almost the entire 1.5 hours, with very few breaks. Had a great time with Sea Glass Kayaking! The weather was a bit poor, but we still had fun and spotted dolphins the moment we went into the water. The guide, Alicia, was fantastic and very knowledgeable regarding the waterways, sea life, birds, and surrounding attractions. You kind of get a guided tour with a very cool educational component. Lots of fun and highly recommended!
First time Kayakers, we had Braley for our tour guide and she was awesome to have. She was very helpful and patient in giving us lessons on what to do. She answered all of our questions. In addition she was very helpful helping us to get on the kayak and giving us a push start. She is very passionate about marine life that we learned so much because of her. Overall, she was amazing. Highly recommend her.
