The 226 and 228 is a great multi purpose boat for leisure and fishing. The outboard engines are great and use very little gas compared to I/o. Well designed boats

I was hesitant to purchase a Sea Fox boat because I heard all the horror stories about the older ones but the boat dealer assured me the newer ones were much higher quality and they turned their image around. Unfortunately that was definitely not the case. I purchased a used 2024 Sea Fox Commander 268 that was originally purchased 09/24 and it has more issues than my 20 year-old Sea Pro did.
