SEA-FOX NEVER AGAIN I had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a SEAFOX boat, and I regret it deeply. My 288 commander has been phenomenal, offshore and inshore. after seven years, only issue was a small latch for the door, Zach from Sea Fox got it to me in three days. Great customer service!
I purchased a 2021 288 Commander at the Orlando Boat show from Liquid Planet Marine. I have had nothing but issues with the boat since I took delivery. I have spoke with Jason Taska with Sea Fox on several occasions as well as Liquid Planet Marine. They have taken care of nothing. The wiring on the boat is horrible10 gauge wires run into 3 Gauge wires. Screws falling out in several areas. Window falls out of head door. Windless trips every time there is a slight load. This is my second Sea Fox center console. Had the 2019 266 and now have the 2022 288. Love the boat. Love the layout, storage, tackle center, etc. But my boat was built with poor quality control. Got my boat in 2022 just after COVID. Had several water leaks - both raw water AND fresh water. Dealer found that 6 of my 11 thru hull drains were leaking and fixed them! I own a 2022 268 Commander, purchased at Palmetto boat sales in Charleston SC. The warranty process was one of the worst experiences I've had as a whole. My boats gel coat and cracking turned into a full blown hole and is still not fixed after multiple attempts. Not sure that can all be attributed to Sea Fox but they do choose who can warranty their hulls and the back and forth wasn't worth the headache.
