the newer rumson seabright has its pros ; 1 its extremely wide, 2 the park next to it is extremely pleasant, 3 it has a beautiful design . but the old one was very iconic to the area
Why wasn’t the bridge made higher so the boats can go through everyone asks. The horn is loud and before that hasn’t worked well in over 10 years. The Monmouth County Bridge dept needs to lower the horn. When people are on the bridge they make comments. You feel like you’re jumping out of your skin.
Nice bridge recently got a new one
The new bridge opened to traffic Thursday, July 31, 2025.
