I enjoyed my stay here. My son and I were in town for the Club World Cup, and need a place to stay. I like that it was tucked away and quiet, but close enough to drive to some restaurants and shops. It is very close to the beach, which we both walked and drove to several times. Check in and check out is virtual, so you don't actually speak to anyone, which is a little weird. Sea Beach Plaza is a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale! The location is fantastic—just steps from the beach and close to everything. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing stay. A special shoutout to the manager, Aritha—she is such a sweetheart and truly makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!
Absolutely unacceptable conditions — avoid Sea Breeze at all costs I booked a stay at Sea Breeze in Fort Lauderdale through Hotels.com, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Just before arrival, I was notified that the entire hotel was experiencing a power outage — no electricity, no air conditioning, no lighting, nothing. From the start, this hotel was a disappointment. The "self-check-in" did not work because the computer equipment was not connected properly. So, after a full day of travel and being exhausted, we had to wait 1.5 hours for someone to arrive at the hotel to manually check us in. The rooms were adequate, but I am sure the photos were several years old, as the room was worn, lamps were missing, and privacy was nonexistent. Our bed was right at the front window.
