My 6 yr old daughter has been training with Brandan at SDSS for the past year and a half, and it’s been one of the best parts of her week. She’s grown more confident, made great friends, and learned real martial arts skills that she’s proud of. She's earned new belts, which has given her a sense of accomplishment that's not often found in today's "participation trophy" era of kid activities. It's a great place for kids and honestly it's also fun to attend as an adult. Sensei Brandan is wonderful with kids.

We have had a great experience here. Brendan is a great, energetic teacher. He’s very good with the kids. He has an uncanny ability to learn (and remember!) all the kids’ names and things about them (like what other classes they go to, their siblings, their interests, etc). I can’t really say that our 8-year-old has learned much “martial arts”, but he really enjoys the class. The class is more like 45 minutes of organized physical activity and fun games. So the kids get really into it.
