I bought their Alder timber to line a ceiling. I was guaranteed the length was " bang on" 2400. It's not and that matters when you're working to frame spacing. I asked for cover width but was told "not sure but use the ready reckoner, it's spot on". No it's not!!! So we were short of product - about 11%. Delivery to SA cost lots but so be it. TL;DR: Took 6 months from order to refund. Poor communication, incorrect shipping details, inadequate packaging, damaged product, and multiple follow-ups required at every stage. Would not recommend. I wanted to share my experience as it differs significantly from the high ratings. I ordered 5 carbon sauna panels on 21 April, which were listed as in stock. Fully paid for our sauna nearly 2 weeks ago - responsive to emails but unfortunately we still haven’t received our sauna and got the run around with locking in a delivery and assembly date - should have been offered the option of refunding our assembly fee upfront since they knew there were capacity issues. This has delayed our landscaping building works as a result. Poor and stressful experience ordering from this company.
SDS saunas were very professional from our initial contact with James . Delivery was quick and our installation guys from Kitset , Simon and Lloyd did a great job putting it together. Very happy with the whole process.
