I can't express how happy and satisfied l am with SDS Saunas and my contact Rico who managed the whole process for me. A wonderful company to deal with a wonderful rep in Rico, the installation was fantastic they took great care in every part of my sauna delivery.. even the young chap who delivered my sauna was fantastic. I have delt with SDS twice now and its unfortunate to say i have been disappointed in their service. Both circumstances i have had to follow up many times on to locate my order ( lost for a few weeks ) and with the 2nd occasion no communication regarding an out of stock .
I bought their Alder timber to line a ceiling. I was guaranteed the length was " bang on" 2400. It's not and that matters when you're working to frame spacing. I asked for cover width but was told "not sure but use the ready reckoner, it's spot on". No it's not!!! So we were short of product - about 11%. Delivery to SA cost lots but so be it. But because their ready reckoner is wrong, an extra delivery was required and astoundingly expensive - roughly the same cost as the timber. And without doing their own maths to justify ... read more
