Poor billing and insurance processing. Somehow some claims are able to be processed but not others even though services were all on the same day
Lesson learned. They will not put your account on hold, while pending payment from your insurance company. This in spite of what they may tell you. Buyer beware.
Such a shocker that they have such terrible reviews, they'll bill you a ton of money and I don't know why BayCare uses them. I will make sure that if they are on any of my provider lists I will never use them again and they really don't help people that are in financial need and can't afford the bills!
Tried to bill us $516 for an outpatient procedure which was already covered by the Medicare Advantage plan we use. Upon further checking and spending about 2 hours on the phone, we apparently owe them nothing. Deceptive billing practices. Beware.
After a hospital ER visit where they refused to treat me and released me, I subsequently went to a surgeon who did surgery same day. I received a bill from SDI pursuant to the ER visit. I called and asked them to waive it, as I received no treatment. They said my request would be reviewed and someone would reach out.
