Our downstairs floors were pretty scratched up and faded and we finally decided to deal with it. Got a few estimates and SFI stood out because they actually talked me through what refinishing meant instead of just throwing a number at me. Had SFI come out to refinish the floors in a couple of rooms and I'm glad we called them the flooes had a lot of wear near the doorways and now everything looks even and Rich they were clear about pricing and stuck to it sanding was less Dusty then I braced for the color turned out warm and just what I wanted

went looking for floor refinishers after our dog incident left some bad spots. SFI got back to me fast, came out for the estimate within a week. scheduled the work for the following month which worked perfect with our vacation. crew was already done by the time we got back. floors gorgeous

We came across a section in the dining room where the wood had buckled from a slow leak we didn't catch right away. After looking at a few places around Willmette, SFI came out and was able to swap just the damaged boards and blend the refinish in with the rest of the floor. Hard to spot where the repair was done unless you know where to look.

quote process was simple, got a written estimate after he walked the rooms. found them through a Willmette neighbor thread on Facebook. Install took 3 days for the dining and living room. they swept and vacuumed before leaving each night which was nice. boards are tight no gaps showing yet.
