Just had my first baby here and it was the most wonderful experience. Most of the reviews are about Renee who is wonderful too, but the midwives I had were Stephanie and Jordan and they were also amazing. My husband and I learned so much about birth from them at all the prenatal appointments. It really helped us feel equipped for birth and to make our own informed decisions. Found out that I was pregnant back in April a few months ago with my second baby. I didn’t have a good experience with an OB here in Santa Clarita so I was hoping for a new and calming experience with this group. But before even meeting me, I got an email stating that they can’t Help me or treat me or see me because somebody had already taken the date that the birth of my child is supposed to be on. Very disappointing and very sad.
This review is 2 years overdue, but better late than never! My experience with SCV Birth Center is etched in my memory as one of the fondest periods of my life, from the pre natal care I received all the way through the beautiful birth of my son. I have never felt so cared and looked out for both physically and mentally. I often referred to them as my pregnancy cheerleaders! Loved this place. I went here for the lactation consultant. Best decision ever. Wish I hadn’t waited so long. She was incredibly knowledgeable. Gave me confidence to keep going on my breastfeeding journey. I was nervous to admit I needed help, felt like giving up. I now have hope again. Got great information. Can’t recommend this place enough.
