Update: I received a full refund after sending letters to the clinic manager explaining the situation. I am satisfied with the outcome. I had a very disappointing experience at Scurfield Medical Centre with Dr. Laribi. During the consultation for my son, she suggested providing a medical note but never mentioned there would be a $25 fee. I hate to leave this review because the doctors here are great! This is for the Asian receptionist, my experience today was very frustrating. I called in the morning to request a same-day appointment with my family doctor. The Asian receptionist booked something and mentioned a no-show fee, but ended the call quickly before I could explain the reason for my visit. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive. The worst. You can book your appt at 10am and will wait in the lobby for over an hour. Why implement late fees if they themselves can't follow the same rule. The doctors definitely treat you as a number and disregard any serious concerns you’ll have and insists “we keep an eye on it”. Because of the carelessness I’ve had many health problems.
