Spent 24 hrs in A& E with my husband who’s hip replacement had dislocated screaming out in pain after each spasm throughout the the time we were there. Nurses that attended him couldn’t fault but a certain senior nurse in navy uniform I was appalled with her attitude. Awful experience, I booked my 12 year old in who had fallen whilst snowboard and injured her knee, we arrived at 20:45 and saw reception and was told to take a seat......I eventually walked out at 00:20 after not even getting past the first stage of triage, there are signs everywhere telling us not to ask about waiting times. I understand that it's in order of priority and I'm no doctor but I could see people with nothing more than a scratch on a leg being seen before people looking more poorly, on top of this my 18 month ol... read more
