Great wings and staff banter.
My family has been eating at Scubbers since day one. I have lived in Wisconsin, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and now Illinois but NO ONE comes close to their food. Many places try and fail to make great wings or buffalo chicken wraps. Scubbers is the only place that gets it. I was sad to hear of the owners passing and to hear of their closing at the end of this month. The BEST homemade pizza i’ve had since moving to NY!! Couldn’t recommend it enough!
We stopped in and just in a friendly way asked, "so how are your wings?" The lady behind the counter stared and said "What do you mean? THEIR COOKED." So we decided to go somewhere else. It gave off an ewww vibe.
