I went in today to buy my niece ice cream and a $3.00 Hi Chew candy. I had just asked for a small cup of water and was told very curtly by the clerk that I could buy a bottle of water. They do not give complimentary cups of water. It was a hot day and I was a paying customer, so I thought this was stingy and unreasonable. I grew up in Arvada in a different time and place, but people were hospitable and caring. I was quite disappointed to see what an Arvada business has become.
