Always had good experience here until today when they turned us away at 7:15pm for a simple RSV test for my toddler because they apparently close their lab at 7pm even though they’re open until 8. We even called ahead of time asking how long they’re open until and if they do RSV tests. No one ever said that they wouldn’t take a test after 7pm… even if they had to submit it the next day we would have been okay with that. Frustrating experience when you have a sick child and drive a long distance.
My boyfriend had a simple cut above the eyelid and we thought he might need glue or stitches. They literally turned us away over an hour before they closed (???) and sent us to the emergency room. So unprofessional - 3 tired doctors gasping and freaking out over the surface cut, saying he needed a brain scan. Asked him to tell his story multiple times and did not listen. Absolutely the best experience at an urgent care - and we work in urgent/emergent care. From Rob at registration to Dr. Pritchard and super efficient staff, we were very impressed with throughput and professionalism. Would absolutely return should we need treatment in Oceanside again.
Luckily it wasn't crowded. Efficient check-in. The doctor was excellent and gave me information I needed and then I got a ultrasound for my legs.
Went in on 1/26/25 with excruciating pain to the point of not walking. After waiting for about 30 mins I was informed that they are no longer in contract with anthem blue cross, therefore an out of network provider. I had no option due to my condition but to wait and be seen. After waiting another hour I was checked in. After doing all the blood tests, urine tests, CT scan, etc., they said everything looked fine and that I likely pinched a nerve. A week later my hip and low back still hurting tremendously .
