I called there this morning to request an application for an elderly friend. Person I spoke with should not be allowed anywhere near a phone ever or to speak with any customers. She obviously hates her job and has no desire to help anyone do anything.
I'm mad they denied my application because of my husband's past criminal history. That is past now . I feel it is discrimination. If he hasn't been in trouble In years now and it was a mistake.He deserves a chance to get Section 8.After about a year waiting they deny us because of my husband's "past" .On top of that I'm head of household and I have 0 criminal record. That's why it's called the past. It wasn't anything dangerous to others.
Applied for housing in Scranton probably 12 years ago I haven't heard one word from them
