I have taken my children to the Falls Church and Alexandria locations. The Falls Church location is much larger and offers more space. I have one observation. Employees/staff of Scramble should be required to follow the ‘no shoes’ when entering the play space. In the last 30 minutes of sitting here, there were 4 employees who entered and walked through the play area with shoes on.
My son and I love this place! It’s huge, and you can easily spend two hours crawling around and still see new areas. We’ve only been here twice, both times on a weekday. It gets crowded and crazy as the day goes on. I would recommend going early and avoiding weekends. It gets hot in here so wear sleeveless shirts and shorts!
I'm giving 3 starts comparing to others. Considering weekend price scramble charging way more like today they charge us $29/each it around 45% more expensive than any others but serve you less comparing the amenities and size...
The kids loved it. Lots of tables for caregivers to sit/work. They serve food and drink, including adult drinks. One tip: Everyone needs socks, kids AND adults. (It was summer, and I remembered to bring socks for the kids but not for me—they sell there for $3)
