The property was nice but the room was disappointing. Don’t book the “king bed, garden view” because you’ll be staying in a hot attic with no AC. In addition, our towels had stains and holes, our comforter had dirt on it, and our carpet had tons of stains. We had higher expectations for how it was portrayed online.
Everything about this place is sooo magical. We had an extraordinary anniversary get away.
Our favorite place to stay in Mendocino; quiet, peaceful, great service and amenities. Very comfortable rooms as well. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in Mendo.
First off, I’ll say the front desk was accommodating when we checked in because we accidentally booked at their sister hotel, SCP coast lodge and they let us cancel that room and book with them. We stayed one night at the Cobblers Suite which was really lovely. However, when we wanted to book another night with them after checking out, Carrie at the front desk was completely unprofessional.
