Peter Crawford, dba "Scotty's Plumbing & Heating," was my go-to person for plumbing problems. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Now, there is an additional charge for "travel time" to Fawnskin, at the same per-minute rate as any skilled repair or installation work. Do not, repeat, DO NOT use this company. If I could leave "Zero Stars" I would. In late June of this year (2024) I called several Plumbers in the Big Bear/Surgarloaf area for an estimate to install a new kitchen faucet. The prices ranged from $100 - $350 (service call, removal and installation). I selected "Scotty's Plumbing and Heating", who quoted me a price of $175 (middle of the road based on estimates). His Service Technician arrived and during the installation, stated he needed to purchase New Valves. He walked to his ... read more

Great service! I needed a leaking toilet fixed and my old heater needed repair. They fixed the toilet immediately and diagnosed the issue with heater shortly after. Unfortunately the fan in the heater wasn't available anymore but Scotty's purchased and installed a new unit within a couple days in perfect time for my winter vacation. The crew was personable and professional and I would definitely recommend.
