Ten of us on motorcycles stopped at Scotty's to top off with fuel, take a break from the increasing heat, and have some ice cream sandwiches in the shade. The crusty woman (Diane) behind the counter took a set against us from the outset, I suppose because we were on motorcycles, refusing to engage in innocent small talk and threatening us with her husband while ordering her middle school grandson around. To the guy who just stopped in for coffee, oh, you work for the Forest Service, bragging on your contract pay, oh, bragged about you getting mileage too, bragged about writing a report that I, or anyone locally will see, or have any input on....you were on video record..that is what upset you..enjoy your federal dollars...My opinion on the Feds hiring qualified people, hasn’t changed...your Jeep with oversized tires is a great highway vehicle🥰

The woman who runs the store is out of her mind I stopped by to get coffee on my way out of Hells Canyon and ended up getting yelled at because I stopped at the visitor center, apparently her and the woman who run the visitor center have a feud. She was very unprofessional. Don't bother stopping.
