Look around and see their work quality. Some of the absolute worse paving jobs I've ever seen. Traffic management is horrible. Do better and use union labor. I knew they were not union just by the work performed. Hire union. Don't support rat outfits.

Yesterday a Scotty's crew paved the county maintained dead end street I live on. As I came home I noticed how nice of a job they did at the neighbors driveways/mailbox area with the apron that extends the asphalt into the driveway entrance. However, that was not the case when I got to my driveway. I recently had to extend my culvert 10' due to the county giving me a ditch on each side of my original 20' wide driveway and did not have it finished yet (no gravel). While I will extend thanks for resetting the mailbox that they broke; the post and all. They did a poor job doing it and used the cheapest possible mailbox they could find. It's flemsy and wobbles a lot. They did do a good job on the road, however, which is their job. Maybe better supervision, is the issue.
