Dr. Damman is truly, the best medical doctor in the entire world! She works tirelessly to ensure that her patients remain in the best of health. There is no doctor who cares more about her patients than she does! If I have a medical issue, she does everything possible to ensure that I remain in the best of health! I am grateful to have her as my doctor!
First, it's not a secret that this is not a luxury nursing home. Also, my relative has been in there for more than 10 years. Do things go wrong? Yes! Does my mother have to stay on the staff? absolutely! But one doesn't dump their relative in any facility without realizing that that person is still you FULL responsibility. Dr. Ridley is an excellent cardiologist BUT getting a refill on prescriptions is a challenge of the highest order. I called for a refill on Monday and it is Friday and no refill order has been submitted. My previous request for a refill more than six months ago has yet to be completed. I think it is due to poor staff performance!
I am the parent of a patient in your facility. You do not treat patients and family with the creed of the mission that you have so bold plastered throughout your facility. You do not keep them informed effectively. You attempt to make decisions involving them and their love one as if they have no understanding of love and compassion.You work your employees during the week on 1st shift usually more than enough workers M-F. I just recently had a 2 mo stay at this facility and I was less then impressed with some of the staff, front desk and several nurses. The front desk did not know the proper procedure for discharging a patient. Poor job. Several nurses were rude and did not honor the privacy of other patients. Isn't there a law against that? Fortunately for these individuals with their short comings there were more staff members that made my stay bearable. Two in particular.
