Run down. Only good for kayaks.
Love this place great place to take a break from the day.
Shallow boat launch. Plenty of areas to fish from land. Short dock at launch. Plenty of parking. Little bridge takes you to a sitting area with swings and such. Don’t approach the port o John. So toxic and foul smelling. Yikes. Great bird watching for wading birds.
2023-08-26: I have been here twice, at night, in the last two days. I did not launch a boat. The parking lot is dirt, the boat ramp is wide enough to launch one boat at a time, and there is a dock. It appears to me that this ramp is meant for smaller boats. Sorry I am unable to provide more information at this time. Oh yeah...there are LOTS of Mosquitoes!
