Dr Shelly Friedman runs his Hair Treatment business just as he does all the others...Money over client. He backs Nuvell Clinics as the "doctor" and treat clients the same sorry no refunds or guarantees! Yikes a doctor with no conscience. Read the reviews! Hair treatment, Fat removal etc...spin the wheel you may get lucky but if not be prepared to lose your money. I f you can afford to lose it Run don't walk away from this "Doctor" And if you really want to complain the Attorney General will be the place to start.
I started losing my hair in 2022 from stress and the side effects of prescription medication. It took me a long time to work up the courage to go see a doctor, but I'm glad I didn't wait any longer. Doctor Chu is not just an exceptionally, skilled surgeon. She's very personable, makes good eye contact, firm handshake, and explains every thing your anxious about without being pedantic. 3 years since my procedure, and $9,000 later…I can tell you I’m completely disappointed in the results. Absolutely underwhelmed by this experience, and after paying over $9k…I expected a whole lot more. They’re all about customer service, until after you pay…then it’s nothing but crickets. No follow up, NOTHING! You should seriously reconsider spending the kind of money you’ll spend at this clinic, for the kind of pathetic results that I got! Poor results is a severe understatement!
I'm 3 days post-op and will update this based on actual results in the future. My experience was wonderful. After consulting with several hair transplant surgeons in the area I knew very quickly that Dr. Chu would be my preferred choice. She made me very comfortable with the process, thoroughly answered all of my questions, and unlike her peers at other clinics, never told me 'not to worry, I've done this a million times' - She made me her priority and focused on what my surgery would need, not what she has done in the past.... read more
