Called in on a public holiday because our coolant light was flashing. Scott was so generous with his time and knowledge. Coming from Sydney, he is the type of mechanic I've been looking for. Dishonest and unprofessional, tried to rip me off. I called because my car had a problem with the transmission. Without even looking at it, he offered me $250 (TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY) to buy the vehicle. He argued that the vehicle would need a new transmission and, due to it's age and mileage it would be more expensive than the car itself. I took it to my mechanic and he told me it was a bad. solenoid on the valve body, and quoted 2500 to fix it, which is less than half of the vehicle's value. Scott is prompt to return your calls or texts, even on weekends. He is thorough & itemises work done. He will show you your old parts, tell you what's needed, or what's necessary now. If you want peace of mind, don't hold off. He will guarantee the best workmanship, I don't need to tell you, see it yourself. I'm sure I would've paid alot more, elsewhere, with the feeling of doubt to workmanship.
